Art Masterpiece parents volunteer once a month for 30-45 minutes in their child's classroom, to teach about classic works of art from great painters such as Monet, Rembrandt, and Picasso. They schedule a time with the teacher to come in and display that month's painting, teach about the artist, the painting, style of art, and make an easy art project with the class. Completed lesson plans and art supplies are available for check out in the library. The parent training meeting is held every September. The Art Masterpiece program runs from October to April.
